In order to play pool well and to hit shots accurately the table on which you are playing needs to be correctly lit. Today when it comes to buying lights for illuminating a pool table you have a number of different styles and designs to select. Even if you decide to purchase a Miller Lite pool table light there are certain things that need to be remembered when hanging it.
In this article we offer some tips you may find very useful to ensure that you hang the billiards table light at the correct height. This will further ensure that the right level of illumination is provided to the playing surface below.
Tip 1 – It is important to remember that when hanging any kinds of beer pool table lights that they only illuminate the table and not the rest of the room.
Tip 2 – You must make sure that the light for your pool table is centered along it lengthwise. A great way of determining where the center of the table is when hanging your Miller Lite pool table light is to use the middle white diamond located at the end of the table as a guide.
Tip 3 – Along with making sure that the light sits along the center of the table you must place it at the correct height as well. It is best to try and place it at a height of so that the base of it is 36 inches above the bed or playing surface of the table. When putting it in place make sure that you make the necessary adjustments to ensure that there are no shadows being cast on to the surface of the table. So if it needs to be less than 36 inches above the table bed or surface than lower it to this height.
Tip 4 – When you are hanging the light and of course when you are adjusting it make sure that all other lights other than the pool table ones are turned off.
Tip 5 – If you are someone who is having to wait for their custom made pool table to arrive. Then of course it is perfectly acceptable to hang your Miller Lite pool table light before it does. However make sure that when you do hang it that you put it at a height of between 62 and 70 inches above the floors surface. Then of course as soon as your table has arrived and is located underneath it you can adjust the lights height as necessary.
